Mayo-Hegar Needle Holder 18 cm

Mayo-Hegar 18 cm needle holder also called a vice for gripping and guiding the needle during surgical suturing. The needle holder is used by the surgeon not only to hold the needle during suturing, but also to tie the ends of surgical threads on the instrument. It has a groove for blood on both sides. Mayo-Hegar is one of the most popular surgical suturing instruments model: with a lock and a ring handle. The shape and size of the vice is adapted to the type of tissue being sewn and the surgical threads being used.
