Mathieu-Olsen TC Gold 14 cm needle holder by Hossa International, called a vice for gripping and guiding the needle during surgical suturing. The vice is used by the surgeon not only to hold the needle during suturing, but also to tie the ends of surgical threads on the tool. Mathieu Olsen is innovative because it has built-in scissors, thanks to which it works comprehensively during the procedure without the need for assistance, and the optimally short tip of the needle holder improves the conditions of the surgical field. It is ideally suited for sutures, i.e. a method of dressing wounds that require frequent repositioning. The shape and size of the vice adapts to the type of sewn tissue and surgical threads used.
