Mosquito Artery Forceps Curved-12.5 cm

Halsted-Mosquito medical curved vascular forceps are used to temporarily close the opening of a blood vessel, protecting its contents from escaping. The handle with a lock ensures that the tool is firmly clamped to the vessel during the procedure.

Mosquito forceps are atraumatic clamps – they have special serrations on their surface, thanks to which they protect tissues (e.g. intestinal tissue, stomach) from damage during jaw clenching. Mosquito forceps are also used by the operating team – assistants who provide the surgeon with optimal visibility of the operated organs, pulling the membrane or other elements away from the central surgical region through the suture.
